This Saturday, you'll have a good reason to get your garage, storage areas, home and yard cleaned up.

South St. Paul's Spring Clean-Up event runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Public Works Maintenance Facility at 400 East Richmond Street.

Dakota County Seeks Volunteers for Website Testing

Dakota County is seeking volunteers to help with usability testing for a new website the county is working on.

The county says the website will make it easier to find the information you need.

One of the top softball rivalries in the area is North St. Paul against South St. Paul.  Last week Packers pitcher Emily Engelmeier led South St. Paul to a 2-1 victory. She struck out seven.  Emily is also an excellent hockey and tennis player.

3,500 Local Hospital Workers Vote to Strike

About 3,500 members of the Service Employees International Union Healthcare Minnesota voted overwhelmingly Tuesday to strike.  After two days of voting, 91 percent supported the strike option.

If the union calls a 2-5 day strike it would affect:

-Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina
-Fairview Riverside Hospital in Minneapolis
